At Secret Cinema presents Stranger Things, audience members were transported back to the 80's, stepping into the world of the award-winning Netflix show. The residents of Hawkins, Indiana (our audience) were invited to explore the mysterious goings on in the sleepy town.
They explored all the key locations from the show including the 4th July funfair, the Hideaway Bar, Hoppers cabin and the brand new Starcourt Mall. Within the Mall we curated and built an authentic 80's arcade with Coca-Cola taking centre stage.
Our audience were able to play classics such as PacMan, Donkey Kong and Frogger whilst supping away on Coca-Cola drinks including the iconic Ice Cream Float.
In true Stranger Things fashion not all was as it seemed in there with a custom built glitched vending machine triggered using Eleven's 'psychokinetic and telepathic' powers. At key moments during the show she used these 'powers' to shoot out cans of Coca-Cola Zero to astonished audience members. An unforgettable brand moment for them.
Over 72,000 cans of Coca-Cola were served across the show and we even integrated them into the show 'hero' moment with Eleven magically summoning a can to showcase her new powers to her friends and our 100,000 audience members.
